Writing 101: Death to Adverbs

Smart she was, not including her bachelor’s degree, a seamless manipulator and master of the craft. Long dark brown locks held to perfection as she shifted between the conversations of the men complementing her. A self-designated leader who mimicked dictatorship control, she could care less of who was stepped on to get ahead. She was a narcissistic red lipstick wearing pig in sheep’s clothing, with a selfish desire to take the man in love with her best friend. A modern day volatile with a motivation comprised of powerful men, money, and the tailored life. Will there ever be a cure for the flawed and needy? A leopard can’t change its spots.
